Experience art

In the yearly exhibition of the members of the Omani Society for Fine Art in Salalah, in Dhofar, in the south of Oman, art speaks a language of its own. For seven days long, twenty five members express themselves in forty five works.

The paintings I saw reveal the inner self of the artists who made them. With passion they talk about their thoughts in their head they had by creating them. Going around through this wonderful world of expression on the canvas, I can only underline what Horace’s, the Roman Poet said: “A picture is a poem without words.”
