For her final paper she wrote and designed a book with the promising title: ‘How to be Creative.’ “Graphic design is all about creativity and way beyond a picture,” she tells when she shows me her work in progress. Although still a lot has to be done to make people understand what Graphic Design is all about, she strongly believes that in Salalah on the job market there is a need. “That’s why I wrote this book.” Eman dreams of having her own business. She likes to design posters.” With a poster as a marketing tool I can give strong messages through.” Copyr. Enam Ahmed
Final year student Graphic Design, ‘ZamZam Al Mushaikhi’ developed for her final paper an imaginary business about the use and the benefits of Aloe Vera. Living in Rakhut in the west of Salalah the plant grows there in the mountains in abundance. Her work in progress shows all the tools a company needs for the marketing of the plant used in products. Even a small advertisement film is in progress. ZamZam believes strongly in her choice for graphical design. To give her passion for Graphic Design through, during the three months holidays, she wants to establish a workshop for free in her village for children from 7 till 12 years. “So that I can teach the kids notions about colors, painting, photography….let’s say that I can give them a taste for Graphic Design” (smiles).
