Cosmos in the main role

In ‘The Earth has Fever’, my debut novel, the ‘Sky Disc of  Nebra,’ a bronze disc 30cm in diameter depicting the oldest known image of the cosmos, is a clue running through the story of Arthur Tempo and Alice Buton who along with fifty climate refugees have mysteriously disappeared from the face of the Earth.

In “Oman’ interest in astronomy is beneficial for the nation in terms of dealing with the discovery of the universe and in terms of linking the Sharia science in issues related to astronomy and its planets ( statement made during the fourth day conference on Astronomy and Space in Muscat in 2013). In Arab countries, tradition dictates that Ramadan, like other holy months in the Islamic calendar, begins the day after the thin crescent of the new moon is first seen with the naked eye.

Virgin Galactic, the privately-funded space company owned by Richard Branson’s Virging Group and Abu Dhabi’s aabar investments PJS, and Spaceport America announced that they have signed a joint agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that helps clear the path for commercial flights of SpaceShip Two. The historic agreement sets out the parameters for how routine space missions launched from Spaceport America will be integrated into the National Airspace System.
