Landscape-tales

experiencing rain

On the internet, millions of people use Rainy Mood while sleeping, studying and relaxing. But in Europe, during summer we don’t want too much rain as it is the case now in my hometown La Roche-en-Ardenne in Belgium. Every year between June and September, as the only region in the Arabian Gulf, Dhofar in the south of the Sultanate of Oman, is affected by the south west monsoon climate. This unique phenomenon cools the air to dew point. Like a wizard, moisture condenses on trees and plants and sometimes falls as drizzle or develops into fog. Flora and fauna start moving, people socialize in the yearly monsoon Tourism Festival, the so-called Khareef is reborn. In both cases rain sustains nature as one can see in the pictures.
