Today, Oman celebrates the 44th anniversary of the Renaissance Day. It’s a day to remember the huge achievements the country has made since 1970, when the current leader Sultan Qaboos took over power. It is also a time to look at how to continue this progress in the future.
In Salalah, Dhofar in the South of the Sultanate, with songs and slogans, it was the youth, who brought honor to Sultan Qaboos, the architect of the Renaissance. The architect of this event was Aneesa Mustheh Mabrook bint Mobarak who also under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce brought forty women together who offers Omani traditional food for breaking the fast during Ramadan.
