Worldwide and also in Oman, in Salalah in the south, Hindu join together to celebrate ‘Diwali’ or the ‘ Festival of Lights,’ one of the most important Hindu festival of the year. The Festival extend over five days marks the start of the Hindu New Year and is celebrated within families by having traditional celebrations together at their home. I was invited and impressed.
