Women-empowerment

Exchanging ideas and experiences on different subjects was the main reason for the ‘Omani Women Association in Salalah, in the south of Oman’ to organize the ‘1st GCC Women Forum.’ Through seminars and an exposition recommendations on how to develop Small and Medium Enterprises were also given. Top of the bill of the three days forum was the fashion show at the evening of 12 November in a beautiful setting at al Baleed, an archaeological site. The creations of well-known and lesser known designers of Kuwait, Bahrain, Emirates and Oman were on display. More than 500 women and myself enjoyed every minute of it.
